Carrot Cake

  • 2 cups sugar

  • ½ cup butter

  • 4 eggs, beaten

  • 3 cups self-rising flour

  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

  • 2 cups grated carrot

  • ½ cup chopped cashew nuts

  1. In a large mixing bowl combine sugar, oil, and eggs; beat well
  2. Blend in flour and cinnamon.
  3. Add carrots and chopped cashew nuts stirring until well blended.
  4. Pour into a greased and floured pan
  5. Pre heat the oven for 180 °c
  6. Bake 1 hour.

Why do you choose to print recipes which do not indicate the correct size baking pan to use? Since there are so many sizes available, is one just to guess? And why can’t you proofread the recipe and see that it simply says “pour into a pan and bake”? Anyone who cares about baking would never print a recipe like this, and there are many on this web site which omit the size baking pan.
