These decidable cookies are quick and easy to make. Buttery shortbread with a rich caramel.


  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • ½ cup salted butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla


  1. Preheat oven to 350 and Cream 1/2c butter and 1/2 cup sugar
  2. Add vanilla and beat
  3. Add flour and salt and beat until the consistency of crumble. DO NOT OVER MIX! Put in greased round pan and bake 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  4. While cookies are baking mix brown and white sugar in a small sauce pan with the butter and water. Cook at a hard boil until sugar completely dissolved. Add a pinch of salt once boiling
  5. When cookies are done pour caramel over the top and put in freezer to cool.
  6. Once completely cooled melt chocolate and milk in microwave 10 seconds at a time. Drizzle over the top and let harden
  7. Eat your beautiful layered cookies!
