These decidable cookies are quick and easy to make. Buttery shortbread with a rich caramel.
Ingredients:
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ½ cup salted butter
- 1 cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350 and Cream 1/2c butter and 1/2 cup sugar
- Add vanilla and beat
- Add flour and salt and beat until the consistency of crumble. DO NOT OVER MIX! Put in greased round pan and bake 12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- While cookies are baking mix brown and white sugar in a small sauce pan with the butter and water. Cook at a hard boil until sugar completely dissolved. Add a pinch of salt once boiling
- When cookies are done pour caramel over the top and put in freezer to cool.
- Once completely cooled melt chocolate and milk in microwave 10 seconds at a time. Drizzle over the top and let harden
- Eat your beautiful layered cookies!
